B I O G R A P H Y OTTAS: Millie Ottas passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2007 in the Lady Minto Health Care Center, Edam, Saskatchewan at the age of 95 years. Millie is survived by: two daughters: Elsie and her husband Bob Monteith of Edam, Lorraine and her husband Martin Otteson of Neilburg; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren one sister Mildred Abrahamson. Millie was predeceased by her husband Theodor and her grandson Owen. The funeral service for Millie was conducted from the Mervin United Church, Mervin, Saskatchewan on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. CST with Pastor Wayne Olson officiating. A eulogy was given by Robert Monteith and Dianne Kneeshaw. Hymns sung were “The Church In The Wildwood,” “In The Garden,” and “How Great Thou Art,” accompanied on the organ by Noreen Williamson. Honorary pallbearers were all her friends and grandchildren. Active pallbearers were: Robert Monteith, Rick Monteith, Lee Monteith, Glenn Otteson, Blaine Otteson and Wayne Otteson. Interment followed in the Mervin Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Millie Ottas wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and hospital staff in the Lady Minto Health Care Center for the loving care Millie and family received. Thank you to all who phoned, sent flowers, donations, cards, food and loving thoughts and prayers. Thank you to Pastor Wayne Olson and family for officiating and singing, to the choir and organist, and to the ladies for doing lunch. Thank you to McCaw Funeral Service for all your help with funeral arrangements and your kindness to us. The Millie Ottas Family Donations in memory of Millie may be made to the Lady Minto Health Care Complex.
