B I O G R A P H Y STEVENS: Ruth Victoria Stevens passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Ruth is survived by: her husband Hugh Stevens of Lloydminster, her sister Swea McGladrie of Westaskiwin, and six nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Ruth was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Joyce Carson officiating. A eulogy was given by Wayne Curtis. The Grace United Church Choir sang “In The Bulb, There Is A Flower.” The hymns sung were “Joyful, Joyful” and “Just As I Am,” accompanied on the organ by Pat Skinner. Honorary pallbearers were Eastern Star and all her friends. Active pallbearers were: Neil Wildin, Rick McKay, Ken McGladrie, Norm Thorpe, Doug Giffin and Glen Detchon. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the Lloydminster Hospital for their care of Ruth. Thank you to Joyce Carson for officiating, Wayne Curtis for giving the eulogy, Pat Skinner for playing the organ and the Grace United Church Choir for singing at the service. A special thank you to the ladies for serving a delicious lunch. Thank you to everyone who sent flowers, cards and donations in loving memory of Ruth. The Ruth Stevens Family Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Diabetic Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
