B I O G R A P H Y COOLIDGE: Dorothy Edith Coolidge passed away in the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Dorothy is survived by: two sons: Murray Coolidge and his wife Doreen also of Lashburn and their family: Jacqueline (Scott) Payne (Jayden and Jaxon), Lynnette (Tom) Richards (Taylor, Shania, Devyn), Arlyss (Marc) Lehmann (Paige, Blayde, Jaryn), Rita (Jory) Klinger (Kale, Jaylee, Gage); Larry of Lashburn and his family: Mike (Chiyuki) Coolidge, Robyn Coolidge (Drayden, Brock & Kaleb), Neil (Krista) Coolidge, Blair Coolidge as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her son Neil in 1962 and her husband Ira in 1970. The funeral service for Dorothy was conducted from the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn, Saskatchewan on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with Don Retzlaff officiating. A eulogy was given by: Jacqueline Payne, Lynette Richards, Arlyss Lehmann, Rita Klinger and Robyn Coolidge. Hymns sung were “In The Bulb There Is A Flower,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Bringing In The Sheaves,” accompanied on the organ by Norma Lynn Kenefick. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Northern Circle Women’s Institute. Active pallbearers were: Tom Richards, Scott Payne, Jory Klinger, Marc Lehmann, Blair Coolidge and Neil Coolidge. Interment followed in the Lashburn Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of Dorothy Coolidge would like to personally thank Dr. Kerlis, the staff at Helen’s Private Care Home and the Jubilee Home for the extra special care given to Grandma over the past seven years. She dearly loved you all. We would also like to thank the community, friends, and family for attending the service, supplying lunch, the cards, flowers nd donations in Grandma’s name. A special thank you to Don Retzlaff for the kind words and encouragement to us, her family, in our time of sorrow. Thank you to Allan Coolidge for special music and to the choir for helping with the singing. Finally, we would like to send out a big thank you to McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., they did an exceptional job at a difficult time. The Dorothy Coolidge Family Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Lashburn Centennial Museum.
