B I O G R A P H Y
MAVES: Alma Ragnhild Josephine Maves passed away in the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the age of 94 years.
Alma is survived by: four sisters Shirley and her husband Jim Reynolds of Lloydminster; Rhoda and her husband Lorne Phipps of Marshall, Bobbie and her husband Reid McDougall of Marshall, Thora and her husband Bill Burgess of St. Albert; two sisters-in-law Agnes Oddan of Lloydminster and Muriel Oddan also of Lloydminster as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Alma was predeceased by her parents Mary and Ole Oddan, her husband Earl, four brothers: Harold, John, Vick and Glen; one sister Ellen and two sisters-in-law Goldie and AdrieThe funeral service for Alma was conducted from the First Lutheran Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Nolan Astley officiating.
Words of Remembrance were given by Laura Stewart.
The special music sung was Red River Valley.
Hymns sung were Beautiful Savior, Abide With Me, and How Great Thou Art, accompanied on the organ by Brenda Findlay.
Active pallbearers were nephews: Harold Oddan, David Oddan, John Phipps, Tim McDougall, Michael Burgess and Lorne Foote.
Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.

We would like to thank Dr. Chapelski for the care given Alma while in the Jubilee Home.
A very special thanks to the staff at the Jubilee Home for the loving, tender care they gave Alma.
