B I O G R A P H Y OLSON: Donald Keith Olson passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Don is survived by: his loving wife Della of Lloydminster; one daughter Andrea and her husband Chris Desranleau of Sherwood Park, AB; one son Scott of Fort St. John, BC; one sister Sandra Coones of Nanaimo, BC as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service for Don was conducted from the First Baptist Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. A eulogy was given by Richie Davies. Special music “I Can Only Imagine,” and “On Eagle’s Wings,” was sung by Dana Morgan. The hymns sung were “One Day At A Time,” and “How Great Thou Art,” accompanied on the piano by Bonnie Rish. Honorary pallbearers were the Shuda-hadems. Active pallbearers were: Murray Coleman, Bryce Cooke, Dean Miller, Michael Miller, Brad Miller, Craig Miller and Kailan Coones. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks We would like to thank all those who supported us during this very difficult time. All the food, cards, flowers, phone calls, visits and donations made in Don’s memory were greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Ross Richards, David and Diane Davies, Gary and Wendy and Sharon for being at the hospital, to Richie Davies for making arrangements and flying to Ft. St. John to bring Scott home and for doing such a touching eulogy. Also thank you to the Shuda-Hadems Hockey team for all their support, to Don’s nephews for being pallbearers. Thank you to Reverend Bob Aldrich for his lovely service and words of support. To Dana Morgan and Bonnie Rish for the lovely music, to the First Baptist Church for the use of their beautiful facility, to Colleen Hozack for preparing and service the lunch following the service and to Glenn McCaw and staff for the care in making our wishes a reality. Words can not express our heartfelt gratitude. We are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends.
