B I O G R A P H Y SCHNEIDER: Alexandria Marie Schneider passed away in the Maidstone Union Hospital, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, October 1, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Alexandria is survived by eight children: Frank Schneider and his wife Darlene of Paradise Valley; John Schneider and his wife Lissi of Penticton, Ray Schneider and his wife Pat of Lloydminster, Robert Schneider and his wife Debra of Macklin, Linda and her husband Henry Savoie of Saskatoon, Phil Schneider and his wife Wendy of Drayton Valley, Laureene and her husband Don Lowry of Olds, Lorraine and her husband Brent Harris of Edmonton; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one brother John Luciak and his wife Anne; one sister Annie Tkachuk as well as numerous other relatives. Alexandria was predeceased by her husband Paul, two sons Jim and Tom; her parents Barbara and Michael; one sister Mary Chyz, two brothers Joseph and Paul Luciuk; one sister-in-law Jessie Luciuk and one brother-in-law George Tkachuk. The funeral service for Alexandria was conducted from the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn, Saskatchewan on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Harold Martin officiating. A eulogy was given by Linda Savoie. Special music “How Great Thou Art,” was sung by Stacey Schneider and Regan Kuhn. Special music “Safe In The Arms of Jesus,” was sung by her sister Annie Tkachuk. The hymns sung were “Just As I Am,” “In The Garden,” and “What A Friend We Have In Jesus,” accompanied on the organ by Loran Chappell and by the Lashburn Community Choir. Active pallbearers were: Jason Schneider, Curtis Schneider, Matthew Lowry, Shawn Schneider, Paul Savoie, Mark Oakes, Devon Schneider and Laurie Savoie. Interment followed in the Lashburn Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of Alexandria may be made to the Parkinson's Society, the Alzheimer's Society, or the Arthritis Society or to a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
