B I O G R A P H Y MINISH: Frederick Allan “Fred” Minish passed away in the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Fred is survived by: his loving wife Wendy of Lloydminster; three children: Sheldon Minish and his wife Pam of Lloydminster, Deanne and her husband Lee Schamehorm of Lloydminster, Mandy and her husband Steven McNeil of Lloydminster; five grandchildren: Emma, Sarah, Imogin, Brendan and Merek; his father John Minish; three brothers: Ken Minish and his wife Karen, Orville Minish and his wife Michelle, Doug Minish and his wife Robin; one brother-in-law: Rey Grenier and his wife Marie, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Fred was predeceased by his mother Viola and his sister Diane. The funeral service for Fred was conducted from the Southridge Community Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Ross Plews officiating. A eulogy was given by Teira Thomson. A special tribute on behalf of the staff at R & D Plumbing and Heating was given by Roy Noble. Special CD music was played. Honorary pallbearers were: Corey Dallyn, Brian Fischer, Fred Culford, Dennis Wagner, Don MacDuff and Brian Thomas. Active pallbearers were nephews: Brad Grenier, Trevor Grenier, Steven Grenier, Aaron Minish, Dion Pollard, Warren Noble, Brad Passmore, Andrew Donald, Cole Brassington and Rylan Brassington. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family would like to thank Teira Thomson and Roy Noble for the beautiful tribute to Fred’s life; Pastor Ross Plews for his comforting words; Cindy Rekimowich and Cory Bygrove for the excellent slide show; and Doreen Coolidge and family for the wonderful lunch. Thank you to Fred’s Nephews for being pallbearers and the honorary pallbearers, you were great friends. To Dr. Kostic, the nurses and all the staff in the Lloydminster ICU and the EMT’s that helped, Thank you. We really appreciate all of the food, flowers and donations that people brought and sent, and thank you to all the people who’s thoughts and prayers were with us through this tragic time. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff and management of R&D Plumbing and Heating, and to the family and friends for all of their love, help and support Wendy Minish & Family Donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Lloydminster Hospital I.C.U., Royal University I.C.U. or to Sask Air Ambulance.
