Obituary of Yvonne Carpentier

B I O G R A P H Y CARPENTIER ~ Yvonne Floinera Carpentier passed away peacefully at the Maidstone Union Hospital, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Yvonne will be sadly missed by her children: Ellis Carpentier and his friend Louella of Edmonton, Alberta, Sharlaine Body of Lethbridge, Alberta, Sharon Lamont of Maidstone, Saskatchewan, Sharmaine and John Gerbrandt of Macklin, Saskatchewan, Terry and Wendy Carpentier of Twin Butte, Alberta and Rose and Kevin James of Waseca, Saskatchewan; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; siblings: Blanche Leroux of St. Paul, Alberta, Fern Cote of Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Lawrence Cote of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Leo Cote of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Jean-Paul Cote of Delmas, Saskatchewan, Alice Douville of Delmas, Saskatchewan and Noella and Vincent Sayers of Delmas, Saskatchewan. The funeral service for Yvonne was conducted from the Maidstone Legion Hall, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. with Dale Brooks officiating. Hymns sung were “Amazing Grace” and “In The Garden” accompanied on the organ by Marlene Hanson and Marie Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers were all her senior citizen friends, her home care girls and everyone in attendance. Interment was held at the Paynton Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of Yvonne may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Charity of Choice.
