B I O G R A P H Y ATKINSON: Caryl Myrna Atkinson passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the age of 66 years. Myrna is survived by four children and eight grandchildren: Devin and Brenda (Alycia, Taryn and Jocelyn) Atkinson of Prince George, British Columbia; Tanya and Bob (Tessa, Kaila and Cole) Fry of Langham, Saskatchewan; Brent Atkinson of Lashburn, Saskatchewan; Daryl and Jodie (Mackenzie and Chase) Atkinson of Lashburn, Saskatchewan; one brother Allan and Alice Farberg; two sisters, Karen Ramsell, Bonnie and Paul Johnson; as well as numerous other relatives. Myrna was predeceased by her husband Richard Francis Atkinson. The memorial service for Myrna was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. with Joyce Carson officiating. Des Holtby and Karen Ramsell gave the eulogy. The hymn sung was “Beautiful Garden of Prayer,” accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. The Grace United Church Choir sang “In The Bulb There Is A Flower.” Honorary pallbearers were: Arlene & Gary Forbes, Don & Doreen Tarasiuk, Pat & Norman Churn, Des & Inie Holtby and Pat & Jim Woods. Interment followed in the Lashburn Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family would like to express our sincere thanks to all our family and friends for your caring and support. Thank-you for all the cards, flowers, phone calls and visits, food brought to the house, and donations in memory of mom. Thank-you to all the hospital staff for your kindness and compassion. Thank-you to Joyce Carson for the beautiful service, Des Holtby and Karen Ramsell for the thoughtful eulogy, the Grace United Church choir, the organist Irene Knowlson, the church ladies for the lunch and McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. The Atkinson Families Donations in memory of Myrna may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lloydminster Hospital Palliative Care.
