B I O G R A P H Y
COOPER: Ruth Eleanor Cooper passed away in the Leader Hospital, Leader, Saskatchewan on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the age of 79 years.
Eleanor is survived by four children: Dianne and her husband Ron Nagel of Leader, Dr. Marilynn Cooper and her husband Dr. Brian Gushulak of Singapore, Janice and her husband Dr. Larry Ness of Campbell River, Rob Cooper of Edmonton; four grandchildren: Darren Nagel, Scott Nagel, Michael Ness and Matthew Ness; two sisters: Gladys Sirrs of Wilkie and Myrtle Holmedal of Lloydminster; two brothers: Vernon Graham and his wife Barbara of Marsden and Charlie Graham and his wife Irene of Edmonton as well as numerous other relatives.
The funeral service for Eleanor was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Breitkreuz officiating.
A eulogy was given by Dr. Brian Gushulak.
A reading of the 23rd Psalm was given by Janice & Michael Ness.
A saxiphone solo Amazing Grace, was played by Michael Ness.
Hymns sung were Softly & Tenderly, and How Great Thou Art, accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson.
Honorary pallbearers were all those who shared in Eleanors life.
Active pallbearers were: Darren Nagel, Scott Nagel, Michael Ness, Matthew Ness, Greg Graham and Glen Dow.
Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank McCaw Funeral Service for all their help. Thanks to the doctors and nurses for their care of Eleanor. Thank you to Irene Knowlson for the music at the service and Pastor Mark Breitkreuz for his encouraging words. Also thank you to the First Baptist Church and the ladies for the lovely lunch served after the service.
