Obituary of John Berezuik

B I O G R A P H Y BEREZUIK: John Berezuik passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Sunday, September 7, 2007 at the age of 88 years. John is survived by: one son, Peter Krawchuk and his wife Ingrid of Lloydminster; one daughter, Marion and her husband Peter Pipchuk of Calgary; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four nephews and one niece. A prayer service for John was conducted from the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. The funeral service for John was also conducted from the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Bohdan Nahachewsky officiating. A eulogy was given by Peter Krawchuk. Honorary pallbearers were all those who shared in John`s life. Active pallbearers were: Keith Wright, Doug Pipchuk, Eddie Charchuk, Bernard Walker, Clarence Charchuk and John Sidoryk. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Pioneer Lodge Comfort Fund.
