Obituary of Henry Severson

B I O G R A P H Y SEVERSON: Henry Albin Severson passed away in his home on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the age of 95 years. Henry is survived by five children: Lyle Severson and his wife Reta of Moosimin, SK; Norma and her husband Gordon Thompson of Warman, SK; Judy and her husband Willy Fontaine of Peace River, John Severson of Lloydminster; Allan Severson and his wife Terry of Regina; seven grandchildren: Jeff and Jody Thompson of Saskatoon, Tamie and Sean Darling of Moose Jaw, Doug Severson of Brandon, Karalee Severson of Calgary, Martin Fontaine of Peace River, Taralee Fontaine of Peace River, Terry Severson of Saskatoon; one daughter-in-law Donna Severson of Saskatoon; two brothers: Lawrence Severson and his wife Madge and Woodrow Severson. The funeral service for Henry was conducted from the Trinity United Church, Edam, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Canon Don Skinner officiating. The hymns sung were ``How Great Thou Art,`` and ``Nearer To The Heart of God,`` accompanied on the organ by Bev Meikle. Interment followed in the Edam Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of Henry may be made to the Edam United Church or to Edam First Responders.
