Obituary of Edna Erickson

B I O G R A P H Y ERICKSON: Edna Phoena Erickson passed away in the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 31, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Edna is survived by three children: Patricia and her husband Roman Oleksyn of Meadow Lake; Barry Erickson and his wife Candace of Lloydminster, Carolyn and her husband Ken Price of Delisle; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, two sisters: Stella Peterson of Stettler, Dorothy Palmer of Prince Albert. Edna was predeceased by her husband Clifford. The memorial service for Edna was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Allan Young officiating. Special music was by Edna Brander. The hymns sung were “Nearer My God To Thee,” and “In The Garden,” accompanied on the organ by Jeanette Young. Honorary pallbearers were Grandchildren: Kim Heddon, Penny Regehr, Edna Brander, Lisa Timmer, Sara Erickson, Amy Price, Rebecca Price and David Price. Interment followed in the Meadow Lake Cemetery at a later date. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of Edna may be made to a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
