To the Thiessen family, I offer my sincere condolences on the loss of Gordon. When I had the chance two years ago to stop in Lloydminster with my father Dick Wilcox (a cousin to Gordon), Gordon's smile and laughter lit up the room. It reminded me of the other occasions when Gordon and Verley would visit my parent's home in Calgary. Laughter, a strong handshake and a willingness to know all about you; great qualities to be remembered by. Out thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

To the Thiesen family; we were very sad to hear the news of Gordon's passing. I will always remember the stories shared between Gordon and dad. I know dad thought of him as a true friend. Whenever you ran into Gordon he would be talking about his grandchildren or great-granchildren, what they were up to, what sport they were in to - a very proud grandpa. He was so proud of his family. A legacy that lives in all of you. We will be in the Unites States for his service but you will all be in our thoughts. Tracy & Brenda Gower & family
