BIOGRAPHY FANTHORPE ~ Joyce Louisa Fanthorpe passed away peacefully at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Joyce will be sadly missed by: five children: Fred and Judy Fanthorpe of Kitscoty, Linda and David Wallace of Lloydminster, Edith & Stan Puzio of Lloydminster, Bryan Fanthorpe and Ellie of Kitscoty, and Torin Fanthorpe of Kelowna; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her sister Ada and Jim Davidson of Lloydminster and her brother Mel and Darlene Austin of Surrey, British Columbia. The funeral service for Joyce was conducted from the Southridge Community Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Brad Berkan officiating. Special music “For These Tears, I Have Died”, “I Can Only Imagine”, “Peace In The Valley” and “White Cliffs Of Dover” was played by organist Kelsee Lang. Violin solo “How Great Thou Art” was played by Charles Fanthorpe. Honorary pallbearers were “All Mom’s Morning Coffee Group”. Active pallbearers her grandchildren: Kevin Wallace, Lionel Wallace, Mary-Lynn McGrath, Tammy Wallace, Darren Wallace, Jennifer Hirsch, Carrie Puzio, Jason Puzio, Lindi Puzio, Eileen Fanthorpe and Connie Fanthorpe. Interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or to the Southridge Community Church.
