B I O G R A P H Y HILL: David “Ralph” Hill passed away at home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Ralph is survived by: his loving wife Mary of Lloydminster; two children: Doreen and her husband Mel Heide of Lloydminster and Vernon Hill also of Lloydminster; four grandchildren: Pastor Randy Heide and his wife Darlene, Raymond Heide and his wife Tina; Rhondalee and her husband Barry Kastendick, Roxanne and her husband Albert Jacula; ten great grandchildren: Travis, Nathan, Mika, Joel, Jordan, Ainsly, Cole, Vanessa, Daniel and Stephanie; two sisters: Muriel Willard of Lloydminster and Joyce and her husband Art Bexson also of Lloydminster and family friend Jim Robins. Ralph was predeceased by his infant sister Marion and his sister Phyllis Gustavson. The funeral service for Ralph was conducted from the First Lutheran Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Nolan Astley officiating. A eulogy was given by Rudy Jurke. Hymns sung were "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus," "Beautiful Savior," and "Lift High The Cross," accompanied by Brenda Findlay on the organist. The choir sang "What A Friend." Active pallbearers were: Rick Gabert, Morley Gabert, Rudy Jurke, Melvin Helm, Ted Williams and Roy Youck. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
