Pat,Ken,Alana and Families. my son Stewart was fortunate to meet his Canadian cousin last year for the first time, he commented how Jason seemed in his element showing him how to fish, they hit it off right away and what a brilliant day they shared. Jason will be missed even though we are thousands of miles apart and are thinking of you all in your darkest days. Sleep tight Jason. God bless x

I will always remember Jason for the great friend he was, for his sense of humor, and just all around great guy!! All the momories of our younger years at the Salvation Army~ there was never a dull moment when he was around...We kept in touch through out the years, saw him a couple times in our "adult" years..it was so nice to see how great he turned out..lol I will miss you dearly my friend!! My condolences go out to his girlfriend Erin, whom I never met, but I know he spoke highly of you! And of course to his mom and dad Pat and Ken, and his sister Alana, no words could ever make your pain go away, always cherish the memories you will always hold dear to your heart!! Lots of love and hugs go out to you all!!!

If I was to remember any of my first 10 years of growing up, it most likely included the memories of my best chum - Jason. Memories like building forts, melting various items in the oven, driving the little red motorbike through part of the garage door (sorry Ken), learning atari, watching cable tv, lemonade/ toy sales, building all sorts of jumps (still have scars), secret walkie talkies, joking, laughing, chasing girls and lots of other things little boys do. Great memories - built a lot of character in both of us. Your never ready for this kind of news. What a short time we are here. Glad I had the opportunity to share these special memories with such a great person. You will be missed my friend. Lowell Rempel

Jason was my best friend in Lloydminster for nearly 10 years, and although I had moved to Edmonton in 2005, we had maintained contact. He came to my wedding in 2008 with his lovely girlfriend Erin, and we had spoken to each other quite often on Facebook. He had supper at our condo just 2 weeks prior to his passing...he was always jovial and quick to laugh; you couldn't help but laugh with him. He was a true friend, and i thought of him not only as a friend but that of a brother. His untimely passing has shocked us all, but we will forever remember the gift of life that he injected into all of ours. Love you brother, your friend always,Mark Sampson
