MATHIESON - Annie "Anna" Mathieson passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Anna will be sadly missed by her daughter Tracy and Gerard Boyer; two sons: Keith Mathieson, Mark Mathieson and three grandchildren: Tyler, Cameron and Kyle as well as one sister-in-law Shirley Boyle of Bonnyrigg, Scotland and numerous nieces and nephews in England and Scotland. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim, one son Philip at birth, and nine brothers and sisters: George, Jimmie, Betty, Nellie, Hugh, William, Cecil, Chrissie as well as both parents Hugh and Annie Hadden. The funeral service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Charlie McNeil officiating. The Eulogy was read by Tyler Boyer. A scripture reading was read by Charlotte Boyer. The soloist was Dalene Stewart accompanied by Cameron Boyer on guitar singing "My Old Friend". The hymns sung were "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Morning Has Broken" accompanied on the organ by Donna Weston. The bagpiper was Bill Cornfoot. The active pallbearers were Keith Mathiesen, Mark Mathieson, Gerard Boyer, Tyler Boyer, Cameron Boyer and Kyle Boyer. The interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of the late Anna Mathieson would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at the Lloydminster Hospital for their care of Anna. Also, thanks to the ambulance crew for their efforts in getting Anna to the hospital so quickly. Thank you to Reverend Charlie McNeil for his comforting words and support to the family and also to Donna Weston, organist and Bill Cornfoot for playing the bagpipes. Thanks to Dalene Stewart for her special music and to Charlotte Boyer for reading "The 23rd Psalm". Many thanks to the ladies of the Grace United Church for the lovely lunch after the service. Thank you to all of our relatives, neighbours, friends, and co-workers for the phone calls, cards, emails, flowers, donations, visits and food brought to the house. Special thanks to Glenn McCaw and staff for all of your caring and professional support during a very difficult time and thanks to Dave McCaw for his compassionate assistance during the interment. Everyone's thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
