Gloria, Lyle, Myrna, Lorna, Doug, and families... So Sorry I couldn't be there today for Auntie Audrey's funeral. (With a new baby the drive was just too far and long)...but I've been thinking of you all today. I have lots of memories of Auntie Audrey and can still hear her voice so clearly. I remember spending a lot of weekends at her place when I was little and I can very vividly hear her throaty laugh. I'll miss that. I think that is what I'll remember most about her...her voice, her sense of humour, and her laugh. This quote reminds me of Auntie Audrey: "She knew that no human being is immune to sorrow and she wanted me to be tough, the way a green branch is tough, and to be independent, so that if anything happened to her I would be able to take hold of my own life and make a go of it." ~Ilka Chase Again, sorry I couldn't be there today... but do know that she's in my thoughts. Sincerely, Rhonda (Guy), Bil, Trey and Nate Surmon

Doug, Myrna, Lorna, Lyle and Gloria & Families, Our thoughts are with you as we extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mom. Have comfort knowing she is in good company, in a place where there is no pain, illness, or sadness. May the lifetime of memories of your Mom, give you peace and comfort during this time and always. "Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear". Love your cousin, Greg

Here's to the nicest landlady a fellow could ever have hoped to have had. I was truly saddened to hear of Audrey's passing. Audrey and Marvin set me up in a house across from the post office in Paradise Valley in 1989 when I began as a new teacher at E.H. Walter School. How fortunate I was to have been to known them both. I have only fond memories of the dinners Audrey fed me, her kindness to a young kid away from family in a new town, and the times we hung a deer or two in "Marvin's Meat Shop". My sincere condolences to Lorna, whom I worked with at the school, and the family as a whole. Kindest regards Simon Blakesley
