Obituary of Rose Zerr

ZERR: Rose was born May 20, 1930 at Scott, Saskatchewan passed away in the Riverside Memorial Hospital on March 6, 2007.
Left to cherish her memories are: her daughter Helen (Lorne) Knowlton of Olds, AB; her sons: Mel (Margaret) Zerr of Maidstone, SK; Dave Zerr of Livelong, SK; Don (Brenda) Zerr of Saskatoon, SK; Joe (Sandra) Zerr of Livelong, SK; Frank (Pat) Zerr of Dawson Creek, BC; Rick (Edwina) Zerr of Livelong, SK; twenty-one, three great grandchildren, five sisters, two brothers, two aunts, one sister-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rose was predeceased by her parents Joe and Catherine Weber, her husband Frank, son Phil, one grandchild, one sister and three brothers.
The funeral service was conducted by Reverend Dan Gies on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Turtle Lake Mission. A eulogy was given by Helen Knowlton and Mel Zerr. Scripture readings were given by Lindsay Dahlen. Music was by Judy Gies. Honorary pallbearers were all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family interment will take place in the in the Livelong Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial may be made to a Charity of the Donor's Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
Card of Thanks
We thank neighbors, friends, and our families who sent flowers, food trays, cards and the many phone calls regarding Mom's condition during her hospital stay in Saskatoon and Turtleford.
Thank you also the Reverend Dan Gies, Judy Gies and to the Turtle Lake Mission men and ladies who brought and served food for the funeral luncheon.
Special thanks to the Turtleford Hospital doctors and nursing staff for their kindness and understanding when Mom was in their care, also Marshall's Ambulance, First Responders and Home Care Givers throughout the last six years.
Thank you to Lindsay Dahlen for Scripture Readings, Michelle Zerr's time researching the I Owe You Mom, and especially Brenda Zerr for answering the hundreds of phone calls.
Last but not least a thank you to Glenn and Dave McCaw for their expertise and thoughtfulness. Mom's funeral was truly a celebration of her life. God bless you and we shall not forget your kindness.
