B I O G R A P H Y
KING: Arthur (Art) Edward passed away suddenly at home February 27, 2007 at the age of 81 years.
Art is survived by: his loving wife Anne; daughter Judy (Don) Parker all of Kitscoty; granddaughter Jody (Brian) Heidmiller of Calgary; grandson Brad (Colleen) Parker; great granddaughters Emily and Kaitlin Parker all of Kitscoty; two sisters-in-law: Dawn King of Kitscoty; Marion (Bob) McDonough of Derwent; one brother-in-law: George (Dixie) White of Claresholm; nephews Richard (Karen) King and family; Murray King (Roxena) and families as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Art was predeceased by two brothers Richard and Gordon and one granddaughter Lisa Parker.
The funeral service for Art was conducted from the Kitscoty Community Hall on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating.
Hymns sung were How Great Thou Art, and Bringing In The Sheaves, accompanied by Donna Eyben.
The eulogy was written by Arts family and given by nephew, Murray King.
Honorary pallbearers were all in attendance.
Active pallbearers were: Darrell Wright, Terry Willoughby, Raymond Parker, Glen Cooper, Brian Headon and Larry Paul.
Interment followed in the Kitscoty Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Kitscoty Community Hall.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank the Kitscoty First Responders, Lloydminster Ambulance, Cst. Colt Dzaman and the Lloydminster Hospital Emergency staff for their assistance.
Special thanks to Joyce and Diane for driving Judy on Tuesday and Universal management for their understanding and support.
Thank you to Reverend Bob Aldrich for his comforting words, organist Donna Eyben, the pallbearers, and the ladies of the Kitscoty Community Hall for doing the lunch.
The family would also like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers, made donations, brought food to the house and for the phone calls and visits; they were very much appreciated.

In lieu of thank-you cards a donation to the Kitscoty Community Hall will be made.
