B I O G R A P H Y TUPLIN: Francis “Frank” Arthur Boothe Tuplin passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at the age of 89 years, seven weeks short of his 90th birthday, April 17. Frank is survived by: his loving wife of 59 years, Evelyn; three children: Karen (Ken) Matisz of Red Deer, AB; Bonnie (Gary) Rogers of Oliver, BC; Brian (Lisa) Tuplin of Calgary, AB; Seven grandchildren: Annette Matisz, Tamara (Russell) Seifreid, Jonathan Rogers, Shaina Rogers, Melissa Tuplin, Christopher Tuplin and Stephanie Tuplin; three Great Grandchildren: Gaeryn, Toria and Bergen Seifried; one Sister Marguerite Adams of Kingston, ON; two Sisters-in-law Lois Spence of Lloydminster, SK and Edna Tuplin of Lashburn, SK; One Brother-in-law Keith Weston and his wife Joyce of Maidstone, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Herbert and Zella Tuplin; brothers and sisters-in-law: Herb and Shirley, Harold and Audrey; one sister Alice and Bert Longland; one brother-in-law Bill Adams; one infant daughter Beverly Lynn, one infant grandson Garrett Rogers; two nephews and three nieces. The funeral service for Frank was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Norm Laird, Pastor Anne Laird and Reverend Harold Martin officiating. A eulogy was given by Brian and Lisa Tuplin. Hymns sung were “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” “How Great Thou Art,” and “Abide With Me,” accompanied by Irene Knowlson. The Grace United Church Choir sang “On Eagle’s Wings,” and recessional “When The Saints Go Marching In.” Honorary pallbearers were all those who shared in Frank’s life. Active Pallbearers were: Dick Vokins, Bill Luchynski, Doug Aston, Lloyd Manning, Charlie Black and Rod Sellers. A private family interment followed in the Maidstone Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of the late Frank Tuplin would like to thank Dr. A.R. Sayeed, Dr. Z. Kostic and Dr. K. Govender, the nursing team on 3rd floor and all the support staff at the Lloydminster Hospital for their professional care with Dad these last five months. Thank you to the Grace United Church congregation for your visits, meals, flowers and donations to charities, and your prayer support. Thanks to Frank’s relatives and friends for the cards and donations received and thank you to the Lloydminster Rotary Club’s attendance at the funeral.
