B I O G R A P H Y WILTERMUTH: Joseph “Joe” Wiltermuth passed away in the Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Joe is survived by: his loving wife Masardy of Maidstone; four daughters: Jeanette and her husband John Leer of Hillmond; Deanna and her husband Vaughn Sharp of Lloydminster; Yvonne and her husband Kevin Pike of Waseca; Denny and her husband Bob Friday of Lloydminster; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; seven sisters and two brothers as well as numerous other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Joe was conducted from the Maidstone United Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ean Kasper officiating. A eulogy was given by Grandchildren Chris Sharp and Jana Thompson. Special music “Holes In The Floor of Heaven” was sung by Granddaughters Melissa, Maxine and Angie. The hymns sung were “The Old Rugged Cross,” and "Abide With Me,” accompanied on the organ by June Franks. Special tape music “Should You Go First,” was played as recessional. Honorary pallbearers were all of Joe’s friends. Active pallbearers were: Jana Thompson, Chris Sharp, Jason Leer, Melissa Klisowsky, Joe Sharp, Theresa Sharp, Maxine Johner, Angie Perkins and Adam Friday. Interment followed in the Maidstone Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Masardy and girls would like to thank Dr. Juta, the staff of Pine Island Lodge and Maidstone Home Care for taking such good care of Joe. To the people who sent cards, brought food to the house, for phone calls and visits, for the beautiful flowers, the donations received to the Kidney Foundation and the Pine Island Lodge Resident Fund - thank you. Many thanks to Reverend Kasper, United Church Choir, June Franks and the Hospital Auxiliary. Special thanks to the grandchildren for being pallbearers, preparing the slideshow, reading the eulogy and giving their special memories of Grandpa. Our most sincere thanks to McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., for your kindness and professionalism. In lieu of thank-you card a donation was made to the Pine Island Lodge Resident Fund. Masardy Jeanette & John Deanna & Vaughn Yvonne & Kevin Denny & Bob and families Donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Pine Island Lodge Resident Fund.
