Obituary of John Bullock

BIOGRAPHY BULLOCK ~ John "Jack" Wilfred Bullock passed away peacefully in the Pine Island Lodge in Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the age of 100 years. Jack will be sadly missed by his son Bob and Pat Bullock; daughter Marilyn and Wally Shoults; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives. The memorial service was conducted from the Maidstone United Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ean Kasper officiating. The eulogy was read by Bob Bullock and Marilyn Shoults. The hymns sung were "Bringing In The Sheaves" and "This Is My Father's World" accompanied on the organ by Frances Wright. The Maidstone Community Choir was in attendance. The recessional was "How Great Thou Art." The interment was held in the Maidstone Cemetery. There is an old saying that states, "It takes a whole village to raise a child." We would like to say that, "It takes an entire community to look after a 100 year old great-great grandfather." McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
