It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Sophie Burns, of Vermilion, Alberta who passed away suddenly on November 2, 2006 at the age of 81 years.
She is survived by: two daughters: Lorraine (John) Pidwerbeski, Carol (George) Nicolaychuk; eight grandchildren: Dwaine (Clare) Pidwerbeski, Vanessa (Allen) Anshelm, Darcy (Kerensa) Pidwerbeski, Patti (Roger) Kitt, Terry Nicolaychuk, Jerry Nicolaychuk, Lori Nicolaychuk, Angela (Doug) Croft; nine great grandchildren: Samantha, Gavin, Tayler, Blayke, Braden, Owen, Eryn, Jorja and Alexander; her brothers: Harry (Olive) Trach, Steve (Mary) Trach, Peter (Leona) Trach; her sisters: Pauline Kinney and Stella Warawa as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Samuel Carl Burns.
Donations in memory of Sophie may be made to the Lung Association, the Vermilion Cemetery Fund or to a Charity of the Donors Choice.
