So sorry to have missed Fred's prayers and funeral. Thoughts and prayers to Cis and entire family. There was a time about 40 years ago, when after Perch fishing at Myers lake in Saskatchewan when we were cleaning the pails of fish in Dad's basement. Fred and Cis came over for the late night fish fry. Fred shook his head when he saw the way we were cleaning the fish. He asked us for a filleting knife and a pair of pliers. Fred showed us how to "peel" the skin off the fish, and he did about 4 for each single fish we did with no wasted meat. He had taken the worst part of fishing and made it so easy. Thanks for this one of many great memories Fred. When you run into St. Peter, you may want to fill him in as well on "Peeling Perch", I think he to will be impressed. May you rest in peace, my friend.
