Obituary of David Hetu

It is with great sadness that the family of David Hetu announces his sudden passing on July 30, 2013 five days before his 44th birthday. Dave was born in Port Alberni, B.C and raised in Nipawin SK area and called Lloydminster home for many years. David is survived by his loving wife Debbie, daughter Amanda, son Matthew, brother Leo (Judy) Hetu, sister Diane (Jim) Barnett, Elaine (John) Krywchuk, Denice Little, sister in law Shannon (Harv) Kehler, Mother in law Rita Cranch, "Dad" Willie Rempel, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mom Theresa Hetu, sister Muriel Simister and brother Maurice Hetu. David always put his family first and they meant the world to him. His greatest joy was spending time with them whether he was boating, fishing, quading, bowling, golfing, watching his kids activities, cheering on the riders or hosting a late night poker game. Dave, a friend to all was easy going, happy go lucky and always game for fun and adventure. He touched the hearts of many and will truly be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to cross his path. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 at 10:30am at McCaw Funeral Chapel. Donations may be made to the children's trust fund c/o McCaw Funeral Service Ltd.
