I am related to Alice Maude on my mothers side. The news from Canada is so sad, the loss of so many young people in the bus crash. After searching the internet I see that Jack and Alice's children are now passing away. I have a copy of the book Gully Farm that Jack's sister wrote. Jack and Alice sent food parcels during the war to my Grandfather and my Mum, their kindness has not been forgotten. My mum who passed away 2 years ago told me that, when they visited Derbyshire in the late sixties the thing that most struck them was the thousands of miles of stone walls that cover the county. Please tell Art and Yvonne that their parents visit has not been forgotten.

Dear Arlene, Wade and Elesha. We are so shocked and saddened to hear of dear Cliffs passing. We keep you all in our hearts and prayers at this difficult time. We will always remember our visits, when we happen to run into each other. Cliff always had a passion and caring for others. Our condolences to the Pinder family on the passing of Cliff. It seems that over the past number of years, Cliff had certainly had his challenges with health issues but he was a survivor and had battled hard. It is hard to hear that he lost this last struggle but I'm sure your family will have plenty of great memories to carry with you. We will keep you in our thoughts for some time to come.
