She is survived by Jason, her loving husband of nearly 18 years; 3 children, Harley 16, Zoey 14 and Jaxon11; her parents, Mervin and Mavis Hanson; sisters Roxanne (Colin Finnie) and Shari (Mike Dzurka); brother Randy (Kathy Long); parents-in-law Pat Wiesner. Yvonne Wiesner. She will be greatly missed by her sisters-in-law; Alana (Joe Patrick), Andrea (Kent Brown), Allyson (Dustin Grant) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Douglas, grandparents and brother-in-law Bradley Wiesner. Shanda was an exceptional wife and mother, always putting everyone else before herself. Even when she was in the hospital, she hated to bother the nurses. She tended to everyone’s needs leaving hers unattended. She was a real hockey and ball mom for Zoey and helped with team management and loved being involved with all of Harley and Jaxon’s projects and activities. Shanda was a Teacher Assistant at St. Mary’s School in Lloydminster for many years where she gained a home away from home. Shanda had a special gift to touch the lives of all she met and leaves many friendships that will not soon be forgotten. Shanda looked forward to camping and spending time with family and friends at the lake. Shanda was born in Rose Valley on November 15, 1969. She attended University of Saskatchewan and received her B.A. She married Jason Wiesner on July 18, 1998. Shanda and Jason have spent their entire married life in Lloydminster where they raised their three children. Donations in memory of Shanda may be made to St. Mary's School, Lloydminster, Alberta.
