Dear Scott, Ken and family.
We so much have enjoyed knowing your mom and grandmother. Edith was such a steady presence as a nurse at Pleasantview Camp, at the local hospital and investing in so many peoples' lives generally. She made her mark and lived well, even with her health limitations in the last years. May God comfort you all.

My thoughts & prayers are with the family as you mourn the loss of Edith. She will be missed when I take the kids from playschool to the Dr. Hemstock as she was one of my faithful "buddies" for the kids.

Edith was my across the street neighbor on 46st starting in 1995 I was in my very young 20s when her grandchildren Tyler and Melissa came in to my life as they were close in age to my sons She took it upon herself to know them.Edith had my sons over always when her grandchildren were there and at christmas did crafts. To this day almost 20 yrs later the beaded christmas stars she helped my sons make are some of are most treasured christmas ornaments. Edith and her husband were the sweetest kindest neighbors I ever met they were kind and friendly and hey how can you forget the crab apples!!!God Bless you Edith to a very young mom you were a god send and I know the kids have always been in contact I hope you know for almost 20 yrs now as I hang your beaded stars I think of you God Bless rest in Piece

Dear Scott, Ken, and Families:
We were so saddened to hear of your mother's passing, yet rejoice that she is now in the presence of her Saviour.
She was a very special friend to both of us over the years. Her endurance and tenacity were a wonderful example to so many people. She refused to let adversity get her down, bouncing back time after time with great determination.
I have hanging on my Christmas tree three crystal snowflakes which she made for me many years ago. They have come to represent the many creative talents that your mother had, and now will be a treasured memory.
We will keep you in our hearts and our prayers as you grieve her loss.
