Edith Marie McAvena passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 78 years.
Edith was predeceased by: her husband, Samuel McAvena; her parents, Peter and Emma Pedersen; and her brothers, Axel and Clarence Pedersen.
Edith is survived by: two sons, Scott (Kathy) McAvena and Kenneth McAvena; three brothers, Gilbert, John and Ed Pedersen; eight grandchildren, Rebecca (Mike) Loewen, Ashley (Kyle) Loewen, Christine McAvena, Russell (Kelsey) McAvena, Tyler (Christie Dornstaughter) McAvena, Rachael McAvena, Deborah McAvena, and Melyssa (Brandon) Uhrich; and three great grandchildren, Naomi McAvena, Zachary Loewen and Braelyn Ulrich;
The Funeral Service for Edith will be conducted from the First Baptist Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday December 12, 2016 at 10:30 AM.
Donations in memory of Edith may be made to the First Baptist Church or Charity of Choice.
