My heart is broken that you are gone. Heaven is so lucky to have you! I can just picture you running around up there spreading your contagious love and laughter!!! I'm sure going to miss seeing your smiling face at Jack Kemp and you reaching out to kiss my hand. You were so always so charming. I wish I could have just one more of those moments. The hallways of Jack Kemp just won't be the same without you. You were such a sweet little boy. I enjoyed our time together so much! You were one of my first students to have when I became an OT and I learned so much from you, so thank-you for everything you taught me :) It was a pleasure to know you and watch you grow. Your spirit was so bright; I pray your family and friends all find comfort in how many lives you brightened. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

My hearts are with Amy, and family during this tragic time. Douglas you will always share such a special piece in my heart. Although I haven't seen you in what seems to feel like forever you have taught me many life lessons. The one that sticks out to me the most is the fact that no matter how hard you struggle you can still be successful. Douglas, at 11 years old you've blessed so many peoples lives. I always wonder why God has to take the most amazing people.. I hope wherever you are, you are free. Free from pain, and suffering. Your live was a blessing.
