We were sorry to hear of Hazel's passing. We visited with Hazel every time we went to Points West to visit Irene's father Alex Essar. She always remembered us and was interested in a picture that we have, painted by Oliver Holtby.

We have many memories of good times with Jack and Hazel. She was a good care giver for dad.
She had a good life, overcoming many difficulties. She enjoyed her yard and plants.

Although your Mom lived a very long life, it is still very hard to say goodbye. Hazel is one of the first people I can remember as a child. She was always smiling and warm whenever I saw her. I know that you have many good memories. Enjoy them in the next few days. My thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear of your moms passing. I had many noon hour visits with her when I worked in the kitchen of points west. We had many conversations about bands and people we knew in common. May she rest in peace with the angels.
