I was so saddened to read about Lois’s passing... my dad, Raymond Sloan, called the Smith family, his family.. it was through their playing at dances that dad met my mom, & the friendship carried on for all these years..we grew up knowing all of the families.. I was named after Ella Smith ( Dan) ... i am truly sorry that all of them have left this earth, but ..my oh my, I can hear them all playing music.. Mom & dad will be there, as well... my deepest sympathy, to the ones left behind.. memories are so precious!

Aunt Lois I was named after you but never seemed to get to know you very well. It's good to know the family is altogether now. I loved reading that you were still playing the piano and doing lots of activites. You will be missed.

Joanie and Cory.... so sorry to hear of Lois' passing.... I can only imagine the Smith family all waiting with Cheryl to welcome her home.... and the music will start !!
I have no doubt that she and our Mom will be sharing a cold beer and some stories.
