I just learned of Marj's passing on Christmas Day. If I remember correctly, according to my Mom, Marj and I met when I was a few days old in 1946, at Lacombe, Alberta. My Mom, Pearl (Fussell) Hunt and Marj were steadfast friends for 60 some years, and enjoyed each other's company and during that time took multiple vacations together. I fondly remember Marj's softness and kindness. We played what I referred to as "The Baby Game" (SkipBo), and cheered the Blue Jays on together. I will always lovingly remember Marj.

I remember Marge coming to England when I was a child and thinking that if she was related to me how come I didn't know her? I remember stepping off the Greyhound in Maidstone a few years later and coming to know her well. She took me in as a long lost relation and fed me matrimonial cake, fresh bread buns and BUTTER TARTS.I know she thought Mabel was the best at butter tarts but I am not so sure. She was a kind, caring, generous lady who could giggle like a teenager.I remember her with affection

I will always love and remember Auntie Marge. I appreciated Dale & Auntie Marge making the trip out for my wedding 10 years ago - it meant the world to me! I wish I could have seen her in the years since then. I have so many fond memories of visiting Auntie Marge in the summers off from school. I will miss her very much. She was a very special lady indeed. Love, Lynda Arndt

Ive hoarded memories of years gone by when we didn't have a care Whatever happened then, Marge You were always there. For fixing bruises and pulling out slivers, no one could compare Every time we had one, Marge You were always there. Bizarre things happened in our growing-up years - los of laughter Lots of tears But through it all, I must declare You were always there, Marge You were always there.
