Obituary of Elmer Bell

Elmer Bell passed away at his home in Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 68 years.

Elmer is survived by: Betty, his wife of 48 years; his children, Carrie her daughters Karlee (daughter Peyton) and Kassie (Garrett); Corrina her children Kennedy and Corbin; Byron (Kaleen) and their children Rayelle, Madalyn and Beaudin; his brothers, Donald and Archie; his sisters, Sandra, Beatrice, and Mamie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elmer was predeceased by: his parents; brothers, John and Art; and his sister, Marjorie.

Elmer was a father figure to so many other people than just his own. His favourite pass-time was to tease his numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews non-stop. Elmer enjoyed golfing, playing cards and chatting on the phone. His favourite place to be was the cabin surrounded by family and friends, and touring on the pontoon boat. In his retirement he enjoyed driving around drinking his double doubles, listening to Willie’s Roadhouse and chatting with whoever had time. He will be greatly missed by so many people.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Elmer will be held at Lloydminster Civic Centre (Auditorium), Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday January 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Elmer may be made to the Alberta Lung Association or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
