I only knew Will through Bar 5. He was the first venue owner that gave me a regular place to sing and play my guitar without wanting to rip me off. He would give me shows two nights a weekend and would pay me very well. It turned into something amazing where my band All But Heroes would play regular shows and fill that place from wall to wall! The day Bar 5 closed down I was heartbroken. Karaoke has never been the same for me. I honed my stage presence skills in front of Will and the staff and the patrons of that tiny little bar in Lloydminster. I'm more heartbroken to find out we have lost Will. He was a great person from what I knew of him and I pray he rest in peace!

Passing on our condolences to all of you on the passing of a good friend. Willie will be missed by all. Ray visiting with Willie the past few weeks, he would reminisce with Will about all the good times they shared.
Whenever bugging Will about things he would get that little smirk & twinkle in his eye & when he laughed his whole face lit up.

So sorry for your Loss. Will always made time to chat and say hi. I always enjoyed the conversations with him. He could talk about anything and always had interesting topics to discuss. I'll remember his laugh and friendly smile and his work ethic and bbq'ing skills. He will be missed by many. May you find comfort in the many memories you have with him.
