I am so sad to hear of Dr. Berg’s passing. I think of you all every time we make the drive to Loon Lake. I was so fortunate to spend time with your family growing up. Some of my favourite childhood memories are times spent with your family. From those times I developed a life long love of camping Dr Berg was a wonderful man.
Mrs Berg, Val,Rick, David and especially Leslie, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss, God Bless and may he Rest In Peace.

I was so sad to hear of Dr Bergs passing. He was such a significant influence on my childhood and who I became as a person. My father, Stan Binns and Dr Berg were the men that taught me how to not take life or myself too seriously, how to be loyal to family and friends and how to laugh, have fun and forgive. I was so quiet as a child, but observed everything around me. These men fascinated me and made me feel safe and secure whenever our families were all together. My memories are numerous, but my gratitude to Dr Berg, his healing hands and hairy arms that hugged me, is endless. An era is now gone but I will celebrate as I only gained from knowing this wonderful man. Melodie Bowtell (Grunert)

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Uncle Bill or OC as Don called him will be missed. We enjoyed spending tine with him and Iris in "The Rigs", going to Smithers, meeting up with them in Parker, Arizona or them coming to visit us in Yuma. And of course driving thu the mountains to visit us in Comox and sitting talking and remembering. Going to Port Hardy to visit Bill and Ann, out on the boat catching fresh crab with George and watching them all eat a fresh seafood dinner. Great times had by all. RIP OC.

Dear Iris and family, I was so sad to learn about the passing of Orville. Growing up with the Berg family (Lloyd & Iona) were all such happy and fun memories that are forever planted in my heart, and then to live right next door to Orville’s Mom and Dad when I was just a small child and getting to know the entire Berg family tree was all pretty darn special. Orville was a fine man, devoted to his family & friends and to the communities where you lived. He will be missed. Sending this with love & hugs. Marlene (Hancock) & Jerry Schonheiter

I hope you feel surrounded by much love.
He will be missed by many and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I had to insert this picture of the “Rig” (the other one is Don & Shirl Armstrong’s)
When they journeyed up to visit me in Telkwa, BC. We had such a grand time and it
Will forever be etched in my heart.

Iris and family,
Condolences on your loss. Spent some good times curling, and years golfing since Orv organized "Bones Boys". It was great that he was able to get back and golf with us this past season. He was so pleased that his "boys" were still getting out, and he enjoyed every game.
