Doreen Plant passed away peacefully at Dr. Cooke Extended Care, Lloydminster, Alberta on February 22, 2020 at the age of 95 years.
During her life, Doreen was a farm girl, ball player, student, school teacher, wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother, volunteer, entrepreneur, artist and gardener among other things. She will be fondly remembered for her gentle nature and warm smile.

Doreen is survived by: her children, Daryl, Adrian, Greg (Cindi), Nadine (Dale) and Vaughn (Trudy); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean Anthony; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doreen was predeceased by: her husband, Ilston Plant; her parents, Ronald and Hanna Anthony; brother, Ronald “Tony” Anthony; sister, Alice Blake; brother-in-law, Gordon Blake; and step-father, Nelson Robison.
Doreen's family is planning a private celebration of her life.
Donations in memory of Doreen Plant can be made to Dr. Cooke Resident Comfort Fund or Lloydminster SPCA.
