Obituary of Albert "Ab" Truss

Albert "Ab" Truss passed away at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta, January 23, 2021 at the age of 91 years.

Ab leaves to mourn: his spouse of 47 years, Virginia lampen; her sons, Brent and Trevor (Erin), Trevor and Erin's daughters, Ella and Naomi; Ab's daughter, Brenda Gale Truss, of Lloydminster and her daughters, Misty of Edmonton, AB and Lacey of Cold Lake, AB and Lacey's daughter, Chloe; Ab's son, Albert Glen and his wife, Vanessa and their four children, Ginger (Levi), DeBoe (Brittany), Buster and Cason; DeBoe and Brittany's sons, Milo and Kai of Kelowna, BC; Ab's three sisters, Edith (Ernie) Wah of Langley, B.C., Dorothy Mccallum, her son, Dan (Stephanie) and their children, Christina, and James; and Dorothy's daughter, Cindy (Boyd) of Vancouver, B.C.; and his sister, Hazel Walker and her daughter, Melanie of Richmond, B.C.

He was predeceased by: his mother, Florence and father, John Deere Truss; his brother, John (Grace); his nephew, Jack; his brother, Larry (Mazie); his sister, Eileen (John) Andrushak; his niece, Linda Andrushak and brother-in-law, Stan Walker.

The Memorial Service for Ab will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service will be by invitation only. The service will be live streamed and posted on the McCaw Funeral Service website under Ab's obituary at the time of the service. Additionally, due to COVID-19 restrictions,  a reception will not be held at this time. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ab can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or charity of the donor's choice.
