Don is sure missed. I went to call him today forgetting he passed and a wave of sadness hit me. I worked for him for a few years and was his "Baby Doll" as he always fondly referred to me as. RIP my friend.

I met Mr.Reinhart from the Safeway Gas Station. He was one of the best customers we had, always had stories to tell. He would stand there and chat away, always making us laugh. He will be missed.
Sorry for your loss.

I have known Don for several years because of crossing paths in our oilfield work, but we got to be friends when I volunteered to help out mowing lawn after he was diagnosed with lung cancer and he couldn't do it himself. That led to driving him to doctor appointments in Saskatoon. That led to coffee and toast at his place in the morning, just checking in. I will miss his special sense of humor LOL.
We also got to chat about his life experiences. One thing he was very proud of was loaning his black Lincoln sedan to the city to chauffeur the Queen in a parade in Lloydminster. He produced a picture of the car (couldn't see the Queen in it) and a letter from Mayor Robertson thanking him for the loan. The picture and letter are now in the Lloydminster Archives, preserved for the future.
RIP Don

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Don. I always enjoyed our visits at the COOP where I work, he was always such a pleasure to talk to. His smile brightened the room and he was always full of warmth and positivity. Upon being diagnosed with cancer ( something I shared with him being a cancer survivor myself ) we had talked about the little polydactyl kitty he raised from infancy and how it would affect his time with treatments etc, and we decided that I would care for his kitty. I have “Scrappy “ , and I will forever cherish and love your kitty Don. My deepest sympathy and condolences to Don’s family. He was a shining diamond, and he will forever be missed ❤️

Always enjoyed visiting with Don. He attended a number of our auction sales where we could have coffee and tell a few stories. Condolences to the families. Nola and Cal Donald.

Don was a great neighbour for the past 30 years, we will miss his sense of humor, his huge smile and his ever ready cup of coffee to be shared in the back yard. Rest in peace Don!
