Del was a great man and was personally responsible for keeping me employed at my long term career way back in the 80's. I always viewed him as a man of integrity who believed enough in his workers to stand up for them when difficult times arose in the workplace. Rest well my mentor, you did a great job as a person.

Alvina and Family - Saddened and surprised to hear of Del's passing, my thoughts are with you and your family. Working with Del at the Husky Refinery was very pleasant, his knowledge and calm was a benefit to employee's and the company. I will miss visiting with him at the A&W Southside.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked for Del for many years at the Refinery and he was always well liked and respected. He would always take the time to make sure everything was ok not just at work but in our home lifes' too. He will be missed and remembered.

We have so many memories of the generosity & hospitality shared in Lloyd, Brightsand Lake & the acreage of Delbert & Alvina. Always so welcoming & interested in others. Dear Alvina and Families...this is truly very sad news. I so enjoyed visiting at Tim's with both of you. These were the best of times and lots of laughs.
