Sylvia, Glenna, Gayle, Dale and family: I send my belated sincere condolences and prays to yo all and especially to that loving, full of life Bob. I am sorry I did not hear of his passing until today throught my old friend Myrna Hynes.
I just read and watched the beautiful obituary and Mass on McCaw's site. You were all so brave and reminded us all how much Bob made our lives better for knowing him. I have many fond memories of Sylvia and Bob at Don and Angie's place - playing cards (with or without money involved), telling jokes, singing and maybe a wee drink or two! He made us our own Pitres Ponies Horse Race game - many coins passed over that game. I always remember him with that great big smile and twinkling mischievious look.
I'm sure he is entertaining Angie and my Ed with a joke or two.
God bless you all. You're a beautiful loving family. We were blessed the day Angie introduced us to her Mom and Dad and their big sharing family many years ago.
May Bob rest in peace with Our Lord and his loved ones.
Love,
Bonita (Bonnie) Pitre.

My very first visit with Bob was when he decided he wanted to learn how to play the trumpet and we just happened to have a trumpet for sale after my boys were done in school band. We had the nicest visit and many laughs that day and from that day on whenever we saw him and your mom we stopped to visit and laugh about the trumpet. Sincere condolences to your families. You were lucky to have such a kind and humorous man guide you through life.

Bob always brought joy to our lives in every encounter. His smile and humour brightened our day. When we were in business, he frequently visited and all of our staff appreciated his demeanour and always left us in laughter. His famous joke, around Christmas time, one year he told that he had purchased a grain shovel for his wife, Sylvia. Then he said, now she wants a hoist for the grain truck. We looked up to him as a model of a person to respect for his everyday mannerisms. He will be greatly missed by many.
Love to you Sylvia and family.
Ted and Audrey Hancock.

Sylvia, Dale & Michelle & the rest of the Milne Families,
Our sincerest sympathy to you all. Sylvia, I remember a bus ride to Saskatoon to see Daniel O'Donnell. I went with my Dad, Delmer Brandvold, after Mom passed, and we sat beside you at the concert. It was an emotional time for Dad & I and you softly put your hand in mine...I will never forget that act of kindness. Please feel my hand in yours as a comfort to you as you navigate thru these sad times. Treasure your precious memories.
Hugs to you all. Take care.
