Our sincere condolences from The Rose Family in Sedgewick. "Meatball" as Dad referred to Garry was always a welcome visit In Sedgewick. Dad shared many fond childhood memories of the 2 of them growing up. I was lucky enough to have had a visit with Garry last summer as Scott brought him out to the golf course. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Pretty sure there was a great reunion up in heaven!!

Patti and I are saddened to hear of Garry’s passing. I owe my career at NAIT to Garry and will always be indebted to him for hiring me and exposing me to his sport for all philosophy. He was responsible for guiding the student services and athletic program through some glory years. Always the voice of reason when things got heated at ACAC meetings, Garry will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dear Pat,
We received the sad news of Gary’s passing the other day, and I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your sons, along with their families. It was such a privilege to know Gary. I loved coming by your place here in Parksville to be able to see and visit with him. He truly was an inspiring man, and I loved getting to know both you and Gary. He will be truly missed by so many. It was a lovely and moving tribute to him and I am so glad to have known him. I will miss him dearly, he was so much fun and we had some great time together. All my love Pat.
Sincerely,
David Bloom
