Dear Doug, Nola, and family, I am so sorry to hear of Selma's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed her wittiness and sense of humor when I came to play piano at the Pioneer Lodge. It was never the same when she moved from there. Sincerely, Grant and Linda Smith

Dear Gordon, Sincere sympathies on the passing of your mother. May your fond memories of her help you through this difficult time. We remember times when Selma's sense of fun and kindness brought happiness to our family members. A couple always seem to come to mind. In the late 1970s there was a Christmas dinner at your house in Myrnam where she gave a "kissing thief" a dose of his own medicine. It certainly made all who were there laugh. One May long weekend in the late 1980s, she showed all of the kids the chicken coop on the farm in Kitscoty, and told them all about raising chickens. Memories of that act of kindness will stay with us forever.

Dear Doug, Nola, and Family, I read today of the passing of your mother, and our hearts go out to you in your loss. You know that we have experienced the loss of our parents, and that brings with it an empathy that is born of shared experiences. I pray that you will be able to cherish the memories that comfort you, and draw strength from the promise that there is One who walks with us through our time of grief, wiping away our tears and giving us the hope to carry on. Thinking and praying for you all during this time,
