Sharon and family Just wanted to send a note to say how sad it was to hear of Eldon's death. I truly enjoyed the visits we've had over the years at Mom and Dad's house. Thinking of him puts a smile on my face. He had such great character. I know he'll be missed by all who met him. I'll be thinking of you all.

I was so sad to hear that Eldon had died. To me, he was forever young. The body was a lot older than the man, but his outlook on life and his feisty nature just made me think he would live forever. It brings a smile to my face every time I think of your family. When I was a kid I couldn't wait for you guys to come over. When we visited you a few years ago you made us feel so welcomed and at home. We needed a home away from home as we had been on the road for a few weeks and you gave us that, along with some great food and great conversation. I know you are going to miss him so much, so will I. Just know, that our thoughts and prayers are with you. John, Sherry, Blythe, James and Jenna O'Connor

Jim & I have so many memories of great times spent with Eldon & the rest of the family. He loved to get out there and help on the farm in his younger days. There was no sitting around...let's get at it..was his motto.Shortly after we were married the family came to visit and Eldon was right out there helping to tear out the old horse stables. His stories as we sat around the kitchen table were always entertaining,as he had his opinions and "take" on most things that happened. I especially remember the time he & Jamie ordered 15 pancakes for breakfast and then almost choked when they saw the size of the pancakes. Jim remembers that "no" he never ate dessert, but the tarts seemed to disappear from in front of him. We are so happy Eldon was able to share many happy times with his grandchildren,he was so proud of them. To Sharon, Jamie,Steven, Jeff and families, we send you our most loving sympathy. We will miss him. We will be in touch. Love Jim & Oriole
