I gave my condolences three months ago. But after the dust settles, condolences are needed even more. The beautiful people who left us will never leave us. They are not forgotten. They are remembered, and the gifts they gave those who get to live will never leave us. Our heartache won't go away because another month passes, it helps to have life get in the way, but our cherished memories will never fade because we will never let them. Know that Janice will always be in my heart and thoughts, as our fight for cancer continues. I have lost one this year and am loosing the fight for my second. Please pray for my second fight. My second fight was supposed to be gone first. Delee

Dear Ulrich family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Janice's passing today. I am so sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts and I am hoping that your precious memories of her provide some comfort during this time. I knew Janice through Unisource- we were hired together, and often joked about how we could celebrate our anniversary at work and our birthdays at the same time (my birthday is April 30)..if my memory serves I think we actually managed to do this once! I remember Janice as a very warm and spirited person; her personality was infectious! Unfortunately she and I lost touch when we left Unisource, and I deeply regret that.. I will miss her always.

I don't know Janice, but my heart aches. I just lost my mom to lung cancer weeks ago. She just turned 62. My dad who is heavily grieving is dying of coloc/liver cancer. He is only 64. Both parents had the love life of the world, whichg makes saying goodbye soooo hard. I am the daughter that is left begind.. so far caring for my dad at the end... we all suffer so much. My heart and everything go to you as only a few can imagine the heartbreack. Know there are people out there who can actually imagine the loss... It is so huge and unimaginable. I wish I could be of help. Delee niftyacres6@yahoo.ca

My deepest sympathy to the family...Janice was an exceptional officer and colleague. She always made me laugh and she was always there if needed. She had your back and you could count on it. Janice was frontline all the way and I know she would be running down the range and into the fire if she had to in order to help a fellow officer. My condolences to the family once again...Janice, you will be deeply missed.

As someone who worked with Janice, as it turned out for much too short a time, we had alot of fun and probably laughed way too much for the job we were tasked with performing. Janice had a way of lighting up a shift, even when I felt less than enthused about being there. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Ulrich family, especially Brittany, all of Janice's friends and co workers, we have lost a unique person that was so full of humour and caring. It's hard to believe I won't walk into work and see her smile again, but that is the memory of Janice I will cherish.

To all of the Ulrich family, Although Janice and I hadn't seen each other for many years, I will never forget her gorgeous smile. She was so much fun to play softball with and had such an enthusiastic fan (heh, Joyce)!! I also had the priviledge of having sleep overs, and spending hours at school with her. "Girls will always be better than the boys!!" I sincerely believe she is in a better place now and will forever watch over you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Joyce, Britani & Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this tough time. Even though I haven't been in touch with Janice in a long while, I have great memories growing up with her and playing "Barbies" with her day in and day out. To this day, I have never had a wart on my hands because of Janice, the Compound W she put on when we were kids cured them. She was a great person and will be sadly missed by all who knew her! Britani, your mom was a great person, and I know you will always be in her heart!

Dear Ulrich family, I lived in Lloydminster what seemed like a lifetime ago, and attended elementary school with Janice (grades 4, 5 & 6). When I moved back to Ontario, we kept in contact for a couple of years, but did eventually lose touch. We found each other online in recent years, and continued to catch up on our lives. It was wonderful to hear her share about her daughter and how things had progressed in her life. I truly can not believe that she is no longer here. There is no way that I can begin to understand your loss, but I do hope that you can find some comfort knowing that others' thoughts and prayers are with you. Janice lived life to the fullest and had an amazing passion for life. She will be remembered fondly, with all my heart. Sincerely, Sherrie Quistberg

Joyce and family, On behalf of the Germann family, we would like to send out our deepest sympathies at this very difficult time. As neighbors and friends, Janice was a special part of our family for several years growing up. She will be remembered for her enviable free spirit, a great sense of humor and an ability to make us all laugh. Joyce, I remember the days as if they were yesterday. You cheering on Janice from the stands... you were always her best and proudest fan. May you find strength during this time as you mourn, grieve and celebrate the life of Janice.

Our deepest sympathy and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Janice's family. Britani, you know that you meant the world to your mom. We love you so much sweetie and we are always here for you. xoxo I sit around and wonder, and watch the days go by. I look at all the pictures, and ask, why did you have to die? You've always been there for me, because you were my best friend, and it was a privilege to be there for you until the very end. But now it's time to let you go, your spirit now is free. Even though you won't really be gone, because you'll live inside of me. So when we have to leave you at your resting place, I will always remember your smiling, beautiful face. This is hardly a goodbye, so I won't weep anymore, because now you're in better place than you ever were before. Love you and miss you, "Janrico"!!! Rest in peace, Janice. We will miss you so much and you will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts. Love you!
