Obituary of Janice Ulrich

In Loving Memory Of Janice Dawn Ulrich Born in Lloydminster on May 1, 1972 Departed on June 5, 2008 ULRICH: Janice Dawn Ulrich passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, June 5th, 2008 at the age of 36 years. Janice is survived by: her daughter Britani; her mother Joyce (Walter) Kapfhamer of Lloydminster, her father Lawrence Ulrich of Lloydminster; Siblings: Marcia Ulrich of Calgary, Daniel (Marianne) Ulrich of Airdre, Greg (Pari) Ulrich of Grande Prairie, Kevin (Linda) Ulrich of Lloydminster, Karin (Darren) Walker of Lloydminster. A prayer service for Janice was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on June 11, 2008. Eulogy was given by Rhonda Staniforth of Lloydminster, and Wes Walker of Calgary. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on June 12, 2008 with Father Jan Sobkowicz officiating. Music was provided by Donna Weston, Mel Risling, and Marlene Risling. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were: Greg Ulrich, Dan Ulrich, Kevin Ulrich, Darren Walker, Rob Lamontagne and Robert Clarke. Active pallbearers were: The Bowden Institution Guard of Honor. Funeral arrangements were administered by McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster. When I am gone, Release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy we had so many years. I give you my love, You can only guess how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have shown me; But now it's time I travel alone. So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on So if you need me, call me, and I will be near. And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All my love around you, soft and clear. And when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile, And "Welcome Home." This award, The Janice Ulrich Memorial Scholarship, has been created in memory of Janice by her former instructor; Carrie McCulley, and reflects Janice's drive, determination, and leadership. The recipient will display the qualities of academic excellence, leadership in the classroom and be enrolled in their second year of the program. Donations can be mailed to Fund Development Department 332 6 avenue SE, Calgary, AB T2G 4S6. All donations toward this scholarship will receive a charitable receipt. Donations can also be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
