Athena was a lady very close to my heart. A woman of compassion, a heart of gold and wonderfully unique. Her love for God was often an inspiration. She was truly a spiritual lady with an awesome sense of humour and a wisdom at times that was definitely profound. Rest, dear Athena, and I will always remember you. Thank you for your kindness and friendship.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words about my mother. She truly had a lot of friends in Lashburn as shown by the number of you at the funeral and I'm sure there would have been many more had the funeral been on Saturday. A big thank you to Murray, Mike, Chris, Lorne, Allen, and Marvin. Thanks to all who called the house offering to help in any way, to Larry for plowing the driveway, the Anglican Church Ladies, the choir, the students for setting up the chairs at the hall and anyone else I missed. Finally, thank you to Vicki at the Town Office for absolutely too much to mention. Sincerely, Daryl and Shawna Rogers
